The federal government will today Monday receive about 4.8 million doses of moderna covid-19 vaccine.
Nphcda Executive Director, Dr. Faisal Shuaib, in a stataement issued to newsmen in Abuja, revealed that the consignment is a donation from the american government.

Customs Public Relations Officer, Joseph Attah, made this known while speaking with newsmen in Abuja, explaining that some of the airplanes came into the country by temporary importation agreement which allows them to bring the jets without payment because it was secured by bond.
The customs’ spokesperson said the verification had given opportunity to the service to clearly differentiate those airplanes in the country that were on commercial operations from those owned and used for private purposes.
Attah therefore restated that the verification was not meant to embarrass anybody but to ensure that the right or required duties were paid to the government by the owners of these private airplanes.
The Zamfara State Police Command has confirmed the rescue of two abducted students of the Federal Government college in Yauri, Kebbi State in Zamfara Forest.
While addressing newsmen at the police headquarters in Gusau, the police commissioner, Husseini Rabiu said the police tactical operatives attached to operation restore peace deployed to the Dansadau area of Maru Local Government area for anti- banditry and kidnapping operations rescued the students.
The Commissioner who gave the names of the rescued students as Maryam Abdulkarim from Wushishi Local Government area of Niger State and Faruk Buhari from Wara in Kebbi state, saying they were rescued in Babbar Doka village of Dansadau emirate.
According to him, the rescued victims who were among the abducted students of the federal government college Yauri, Kebbi State were taken to the hospital for medical checks, therefore appealed to the general public to always give the police and other security agencies useful information that can lead to the arrest of bandits in the state.
Youths of Eleme local government area of rivers state protesting the bad section of the east-west road has suspended their protests
Addressing journalists at the protest ground, the Eleme local government chairman, Obarilomate Ollor announced the suspension of the protest, following the arrival of the contractors at the site to commence repair works.
