The nigerian army has revealed that, it has eliminated six terrorists of the Islamic state west Africa province, iswap and recovered arms and ammunitions.
director, army public relations officer, onyema nwachukwu in a statement said troops of 25 brigade, operating under the aegis of joint task force, north east, operation hadin kai neutralised 4 terrorists of the islamic state west africa province iswap.
According to him, the terrorists who were on espionage along damboa-bulabulin- maiduguri road ran into a fighting patrol team at kukawa and were neutralised in the fire fight that ensued with the troops, adding that four ak 47 rifles and four magazines, each loaded with 30 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition were recovered.
Meanwhile, chief of army staff, lieutenant general ,faruk yahaya while commending the troops for their operational exploits, urged them to maintain the aggressive posture in order to decisively root out the terrorists from their enclaves.

The consulate in a statement issued to newsmen, urged nigerians to always seek proper guidance on passport applications,
according to the statement, the attention of the consulate had been drawn to the operations of a website, www.nigerianpassports.com purporting to be a platform for processing nigerian passports, warning that the website is fake and set up to defraud applicants for nigerian passport.
The consulate therefore called on local authorities and the nigeria immigration service headquarters, in abuja, to investigate the fraudulent website, reminding the general public that the global website for applications for nigerian passport remains portal.immigration.gov.ng.
