The board of the Federal Inland Revenue service, FIRS has dissolved the Nigeria Civil Service Union, NCSU.
Firs Director, Communications and Liaison Department, Abdullahi Ahmad made this known in a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja, explaining that the union whose executives were made up of senior staff of FIRS, was dissolved in an official announcement circulated to all staff.
Ahmad said in line with national industrial court judgement 1995 act, the operations of NCSU, a unit in the FIRS is considered illegal.
The FIRS director further noted that there are no longer any junior staff cadre union employees in the service as the cadre of staff it is deemed to cover do not exist within the organization.

Russia has conducted a Tsirkon Ship-based Hypersonic Cruise missile test, hitting a ground target off the coast of the Barents Sea at a range of more than 350 Kilometres.
Russia Defence ministry disclosed this, saying the missile test was conducted from a ship, Admiral Gorshkov located in the country’s White Sea.
